The red ladder that I was on was swinging back and forth and back and forth. I felt like a coin sinking into water, only i was sinking into the pavement below me. I knew what would come out of this. Maybe somebody will notice me barely balancing. Suddenly, everything became slow motion. I looked down. I saw at least ten feet of free fall room. I suddenly felt very dizzy. How could this happen? I was just trying to get dad from the roof to tell him it was time for dinner. Before I could even say a prayer, I was soaring, through the air. Not falling. Soaring.

Finally, home alone… Mom was out doing errands and dad was at work. Yesterday Mom brought in a box from some place I don't know, and my mission was to find the secrets within it. There were still baby cams in the house from, like, 10 years ago. And my mom STILL uses them so my first mission was to turn them off. I went to the door that turns the power off for my whole house, and that seemed fastest so I flipped the switch, all the lights turned off, but I could still see. I came to the box, empty! What a surprise!

There was a bear on the sidewalk that I passed everyday while walking to and from school. I never had the guts to pick it up. I know it sounds weird, but when you live in a family of germaphobes, you are kinda forced to be cautious. Anyway, one day, I heard a noise coming from the bear, It was a scream! Or maybe just a shout. Fine it was a whisper. I miss you. It said. I had a flashback, I was hugging the bear with all my strength when I was four. I picked it up and smiled.

The Egg... and black flickering lights...

“Let’s get going!”, Mom shouted from the car. I waved to my friends as I walked to the car. “MOM! WHAT IS THAT!?”, I complained. Mom sighed, “Honey, why are you acting like this?” she turned around. “Hmm… appears to be an egg…” the car lights started flickering and turned… black? The egg started hopping up and down. “MWA HAHA!”, the egg screamed, “ I AM ALL POWERFUL!” I looked at it with disgust, and then it started to grow eyes… I was so startled, I dropped my bag… right on the egg. “Oh well…” I said, satisfaction in my voice.
